Mr. Marcheschi started his insurance career in 1990 as a multi-line commercial underwriter for CNA Insurance in Chicago, IL. In 1994 Doug joined a large regional brokerage firm in Chicago as an account manager working closely with Account Executives servicing a strategic client base . Promoted to Account Executive in 1997, Mr. Marcheschi specialized in middle market commercial insurance business. In 1998 Doug earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation (CPCU).
Mr. Marcheschi joined Lamb, Little in 2005, bringing a depth of knowledge in risk assessment, management and transfer. Attracted by Lamb, Little's stability, carrier relationships, resources and entrepreneurial spirit, Doug enhanced his ability to provide proactive solutions and be a client advocate. Doug took the lead in establishing Lamb, Little's Personal Appearance Insurance Division, and represents Lamb, Little on West Bend Mutual/National Specialty's Agent's Advisory Board.
Doug is a graduate of Butler University, class of 1985, with a BA in Economics. Doug’s various interests including golf, music and motorcycle riding. Mr. Marcheschi is also a volunteer in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program of Chicago and sits on the board of the Chicago Anti-Hunger Federation.
