Mr. Kelly began his insurance career at Allstate Insurance Company in 1972. After three years, he made a change to the agency phase of his career, working first at Mack & Parker (6 years) and then at Cory & Associates (11 years), before joining Lamb, Little & Co. in 1992.
Mr. Kelly has built his career as a Commercial Lines producer and consultant, serving a wide variety of customers in many different types of businesses, including both for-profit companies as well as non-profit institutions. He has also been active in the growth of the Agency, serving for a term as President and another term as Vice President of Marketing Relations.
Prior to his insurance career, Mr. Kelly served in the United State Navy and is a Viet Nam veteran.
He graduated from the University of Dayton in 1969. He received his Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1978. Mr. Kelly is active in local politics, political campaigns and held local office as a Township Trustee for twenty years. He is also an avid fisherman and participates in all types of outdoor activities. He and his spouse reside in Geneva, Illinois. They have three grown children.
